18th August 2017

We began this day with a quick review of the work we had completed the previous day, followed by a demonstration of creating a multi-layer template using tracing paper and a discussion about the safe wash printing inks we were going to be using.

Following this we began to create our own multi-layer design firstly using tracing paper and then carving into two pieces of lino.

Once the lino had been cut we were able to begin printing our multi layer lino prints. There was some discussion about registration, and we used a registration template with the printing press to achieve our results. The first step was to print our initial colour. We then over printed with our second colour.

Once our first set of prints were completed I then practiced working with different colours.
