At this point I decided that I would like to try and print some gradients to give me some experience of the process. My efforts are shown below.

I then decided to over print the feathers onto the gradients I had created and attempted to make sure all my pieces were in a finished state.

After I had finished with the gradients I then moved on to black ink.

Finally we reviewed our work and the group piece we had created.
