I continued adding sand to the sculptures until they were all complete.

After trying out salt on the sculptures, I then decided to use very grainy sand instead and this proved to be more successful and added a new dimension to the sculptures.

After my discussion with Helen about adding Salt to the sculptures for that sense of physicality, I attempted to do this, but felt that the salt didn’t add anything to the pieces.
